7th – 8th Grade Program - New Jersey Grade School League
Our wrestlers in grades 7-8 compete in the competitive New Jersey Grade School Wrestling League (NJGSWL). This league is probably the best of its kind in NJ and does a great job of preparing our athletes for the High School ranks. Some wrestlers from 5th and 6th grade who demonstrate the ability and maturity to compete at this level will be invited to participate on the NJGS team.
Season: November through mid February.
Practice Schedule: Wrestlers in the 7th and 8th Grade Program will practice in the William Annin Middle School Cafeteria on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30PM - 7:00PM
NOTE: William Annin Middle School is starting a wrestling team this year. This is a separate team run through the school and will compete in the Raritan Valley League. This league is more appropriate for 1st and 2nd year wrestlers. More information about the WAMS team and registration is available here.
